My friends and I decided we would visit Medellin. We took an extended weekend. We found a deal on JetBlue from Atlanta to Medellin for $387.
Only problem is that there was a layover in Ft. Lauderdale. 16 hours!
We all shared a basic room in a hotel we found on Hotwire. It was fairly cheap and close to the airport. We tried to find some Cuban food close by, but ended up going to a Pollo Tropical that was close by.
Once we got there we took a cab to our Airbnb.
