After leaving Chapultepec, we wandered into this little cute-looking place. The place was decorated in traditional Mexican decor and every one of the tiny tables had a pitcher of Melon water, “Agua de Melon”
Apparently the way lunch works is you pick a starter, a soup or a salad, one of the entrees and a side. Everything is homemade and looked great. We ordered the enchiladas de mole and the Raja’s con queso, both excellent. The biggest surprise, however was the price. The total came to MXN $160 which according to the exchange rate at the time, was USD $9.09 One thing, they do not take cards! I had to run out to the ATM and get cash. ]]>
